Festival fun!

Today we headed over towards my sister (Tammi) and joined her and her family at the Lake Acworth Festival. It sure was a hot one! But, the kids had a great time. We had good food (as always a festival, right?), my nieces got to bungy jump on a trampoline, they played at the playground, and to end the day, we road the train (choo-choo!!! as the boys say :)). We had a great time with everyone. The boys were so wiped out, they passed out in the car on the way home.

Thanks Grandma!

Grandma came for a visit this past week and was such a help with the boys. We all had a wonderful time and miss grandma now that she left this morning. Thanks so much for all your help and everything you've done for us!

Our big boys!

The boys started school this week ( a program for 1- year olds called Mother's Morning Out-MMO). They were a little hesitant going into the building at 1st, but once they got to their classroom, they started playing and did so well. They were having so much fun, that when mommy and grandma went to pick them up, they didn't want to leave! Today was their 2nd day and they did well again. Except, this time, they walked willingly to their classroom, but when mommy and grandma went to let go of their hands, they started to cry :( (that broke my heart!). But, when I went to pick them up, the teachers said they did very well and started playing shortly after we left, and again they were having such a good time they didn't want to leave. They will be going 2 days a week and seem to really like it so far...I hope that continues!

Let's go!

A visit with Aunt Judy and Uncle Paul

Andrew and Matthew got to meet their great Aunt Judy and Uncle Paul this weekend. We all headed over to my sister Tammi's for a cookout with Grandma (Grandma has also been here to visit for a week. :)) and also Nana and Grampy. They later stopped by our house for a visit too. We had a wonderful time with everyone. We miss you Aunt Judy and Uncle Paul, and congrats on your soon-to-be grandchild...you all will be wonderful grandparents!

3D Ultrasound pics

Well, we just got back from having a 3D/ 4D ultrasound of our little girl! It was a little difficult, because she was moving so much and she would move away from the ultrasound probe everytime we tried to see her face (plus she had her little hand in front of her face almost the whole time).  But, we did get a few shots. It really is amazing what we can see these days. Hope you enjoy!

And here's a belly shot at 27 weeks (and 4 days...but who's counting! :))

Quick update

Y
eah!!!  My doctor's office just called this am...I passed my glucose test!!!  I am a little anemic, but I suspected that.  So, all is well, and we go back in 3 weeks.  We'll keep you posted.  Have a great rest of the week!

27 week update

W
ell, I had another OB appt. today.  It went well.  Everything is looking good.  I am feeling pretty good, besides feeling completely drained some days.  I had my glucose tolerance test today and they checked my iron.  I guess I should know how those are in a few days.  I thought I might be able to get to lie down and rest while the boys napped...but, I hear one of our little monkeys talking right now...I guess he is fighting his nap! :)  Oh, well!  Anyways, we'll keep you posted.

Our trip to New Jersey

We just got back from a week long trip to New Jersey to visit Mike's family and friends. This was the boys 1st experience on an airplane (which they are infatuated with planes right now). Overall, they did great. Andrew giggled through the landing every-time we dipped and made our bellies drop....he thought that was a hoot. On the way up, we had 2 rows to ourselves, but on the way home it was a packed flight and they sat on our laps. Surprisingly, they did better on the way home and just chilled out on us for the 2 hour trip.

The boys watching the planes..."Oh, wow!"

We had a great time seeing everyone on Auntie Marion's b-day for pizza night. All the kiddos are getting so big!

We even got to meet our new cousin Nina. She is such a doll!

The boys really enjoyed cousin Thomas' 2nd birthday party. Kristin threw a wonderful party. The boys loved the bouncy house, and we all had a great time.

After the party, we then headed to the lake in upstate New York. It was a little chilly and rainy, but the boys loved seeing all the cows up the street and fishing with daddy and uncle Robbie off the dock.

Look at these fish Andrew!

We got to visit cousin Mitchy at the plumbing shop in the Bronx, and we even got to see Pop-pop's old desk. Later in the week we headed to the Bronx Zoo with Auntie Marion and Grandma. What a huge zoo! The boys had fun riding the sky lift, train, and seeing all the animals, especially the sea lions and penguins.

We had a wonderful time seeing everyone. Thanks again for everything! I am posting the rest of our pics from the trip as a slide show located in the top left column. I hope to post some video clips soon...so check back!

Best Buddies

Mike and I are really getting a kick out of watching the boys interact with each other these days. Granted, they do fight at times, but, overall, they are best buddies. Here are some pics and video of them playing together from this past week. We hope everyone has a great weekend!
