Girlfriends + 12

Yesterday I got together with my BFF's from highschool and our kiddos joined too.  There are 12 kids between the 5 of us...so, it was wild, but so much fun!  We need to do these more often.  Love ya girls!!!

We have a climber!

This is where I found Lauryn about 2 seconds after we got upstairs, so that I could do some laundry.  She is up and into everything!!!  But, you gotta love that face!

School Christmas program

The boys had their first Christmas show at preschool this year. What a cute program they put on! The boys did great. Their class sang "Jingle Bells," and, well, lets just say that I don't think there was too much singing coming from Andrew or Matthew, but they sat up there with their classmates and shook their bells. And Matthew was grinning the whole time! We were so proud of them!

And after they had some activities for the kids and a visit with Santa...

better luck next year maybe???

and towards the end of the night, they warmed up to Santa, giving him high-fives and fist bumps...but, still no sitting on his lap.

13 months

Sniff, sniff!  I can't believe my baby was 13 months on the 5th.  I know that these monthly updates gotta stop at some point (b/c she's past age 1), but she is the baby!  She is such a hoot though, we are soooo enjoying this age.  Although I gotta tell you, I think little Lauryn, or Babe, may be developing a little temper... I know, not my Lauryn... but, I think so.  Oh, well to be expected with the baby, right?  Wait, I'm the baby in my family..not me..no temper here. :)  Anyways, she is getting so big sooo fast.  She is off and running with her brothers now...literally.  And let me tell you, they adore her!  Here are some pics from today.  I was having fun with her (as always :)), while the boys were napping on the couch again!  I just love it!

In the jungle, the mighty jungle....

the boys will play all day. Here's a video I just found from about 1 month ago of the boys playing with a simple toy that came on Lauryn's booster seat. I just love to hear them talk and play together; I hope you do too!

Birthday at school

Today I brought in some McQueen and Mater cupcakes for snack-time at school.  We had a little celebration with friends, and then the boys left early with me and we headed to play at the "train store" - Hobby Town USA.  Happy Birthday boys!  

My babies are 3 today!

I know that I say it all the time...but, WOW, time has flown!  3 years ago today at 1:51 and 2:15 pm, we were blessed with 2 amazing, healthy little boys.  Today, they are ever so changing and growing up before our very eyes!  They are getting so big, and such "little boys" now.  Their vocabulary is incredible, and we just love to hear what they have to say...they really are hilarious!  They have the most amazing "twin" bond....they never want to do anything or go anywhere without one another.  We love to hear them converse with each other and play...they have one imagination now!  It is really such a wonderful age.  We have now entered the "Why?" phase.  And mommy and daddy must explain EVERYTHING. :)  They sure are little men!
