Of course, I can't leave out the boys' bathtime today.  Andrew and Matthew think it is funny when mommy does this to their hair...they say "that's Nemo!"  I guess Nemo's fin! :)  They are getting to be too funny.  And they love their bath crayons!

Busted!

I think it's time to ditch the swaddle, as last night and today Lauryn keeps busting both arms out.  Here are some pictures of her just a few minutes after laying her down for her nap this morning (or should I say afternoon...our sleepyhead didn't wake up until about 10am!:)).  She has a hard time falling asleep without the swaddle, but she always seems to bust out lately.  And she loves those 2 fingers!

Bath and bedtime

Here are some pictures from bathtime tonight.  Lauryn LOVES her bath!  Andrew and Matthew are anxious for Lauryn to join them once she is sitting up...which I don't think is too far away.  And, yes, they have discovered the major difference between boys and girls!  Matthew loves to say, "Uh-oh, what happen-ed mommy?  Where did Lauryn's pee-pee go?"  Oh, and to think that that is just the beginning, right?! :)

I broke out the doorway jumper for Lauryn today...and she LOVED it!  She is even bouncing some in it already!  She loves things like this and her exersaucer, because she loves to be upright and stand up like a big girl.  She is getting big so fast and so much fun!

Here's a video of Lauryn last night.  She fell asleep during her last feeding, and I started to swaddle her up, and she found her 2 fingers.  First it was the paci, then the thumb sometimes, and now she loves sucking her fingers!  We thought this was too cute!

Wordless Wednesday

Happy St. Patty's Day!

It's Lauryn's 1st St. Patrick's Day, and it was a beautiful day!  Lauryn and mommy enjoyed some quiet time while the boys were at school this morning.  The sun finally came out today!!!  (It's been raining since Friday!)  We enjoyed the afternoon outside with the boys after their naps, or should I say Matthew's nap...Andrew has boycotted taking a nap for the past 3 days...oh no!   I broke out the exersaucer for Lauryn today, and I think she loved it!  We hope everyone had a great and safe St. Patty's  Day!

4 month stats and more

Lauryn had her 4 month check up today...and did fabulous!  She is a big girl! :)  She now weighs 16 lbs. 3 oz.  (95th%) and 24.5 in. (50th%).  She did so good!  Even with her shots, she didn't cry until the 3rd one and only for a few seconds (but, it still broke mommy's heart!).  And then she was smiling at the nurse like no big deal! :)  The  doctor said she has a wonderful disposition...and she does, such a happy baby.  We are so lucky for that!  I tried rice cereal with her last weekend, and she was not a happy camper (but, the boys didn't like it either).  We'll try again in a little while, and if she still doesn't go for it, we'll move on to oatmeal.  She had her 4th physical therapy session for her torticollis, and she is doing great.  The therapist could tell a big improvement on her neck range of motion.  We will continue to work with her.  She has appointments every other week until May and then, hopefully, once a month.  Here are some pics over the last few weeks.

And we are back to swaddling, after having some restless naps unswaddled and her waking up screaming, because her security blanket was on her face...no more blankies!  I will swaddle her as long as she wants!  She is loosely swaddled and loves to get her hands up to her mouth with her arms on her chest and suck her 2 middle fingers!  It puts her back to sleep most of the time!

Last Friday we went to the zoo with my friend Susan and her 3 little ones.  We had a beautiful spring day. Yes, 2 adults and 6 kids 3 and under, it was a little crazy! :)  But, we pulled it off and we all had a great time especially Andrew, Matthew, and Clark.  I did not get many pics...I wonder why?!  Did we have our "hands full" as everyone in the world says!   The boys had so much fun, they talked about riding "Thomas" the train from the minute we got there!  All the kids did really well.  The boys were so tired, they passed out in the stroller on the way back to the car.  As you see in the 1st picture, they were anxiously waiting on mommy as I unpacked the car and got Lauryn in the Bjorn.
