Bye-bye cribs, hello toddler beds! :(

This morning Mike converted the boys' cribs to toddler beds. :(   Or "broke" them as the boys say.  They (or should I say Andrew) helped daddy take the front of their cribs off  and now say that they are "broken."  Too cute!  Mommy's sad, but it had to be done because our little monkeys were putting their stools (or "ladders" as they call them) in front of their cribs and doing sumersaults into them and trying to get out the same way.  They are pretty excited about the change and did great this evening...went straight to sleep; although, I think naptime may be another story, since daddy found the 2 of them goofing off in Matthew's bed this afternoon.  Here are some pics from tonight.

Hello! I know that it has been a long time since I've posted...it's been a busy summer so far. The boys are out of MMO, which means mommy has no free mornings with just the baby. The boys are very active these days, and many of the days are testing mommy's limits! :) We have had busy weekends, a trip to the beach with friends one weekend and a trip to Nana & Grampy's lake house last weekend. The boys are having a blast in the water this year. They swam in the lake with Nana, Grampy, and mommy last weekend and are having no fear at the pool this year. They enjoying jumping and going underwater with daddy. Lauryn loves the water too! Here are some recent pics of the kiddos. One day, maybe I'll get to posting beach and lake pics (but, I have put them up on facebook)! Hope everyone is enjoying this HOT summer!

Big weekend for "baby sista"

Besides being pretty sick with an upper respiratory infection that has been going through the house every Thursday, Lauryn said her 1st word and popped 2 teeth!   We had a busy night in the ER with Lauryn...fever, wheezing, and vomiting.  After an hour long breathing treatment and steroids, we were discharged.  We followed up with her doctor on Sat. morning for a recheck, and while we were in the waiting room she said it... "da da!"  Mike thought she had said it the night before and it was clear as day that morning!  I guess it's only fair, as the boys' 1st words were "ma ma."  And yesterday when I came home from work, my baby girl cut her 1st tooth and is working on her 2nd!  Poor baby sick and teething at the same time!
