Going for a stroll with my loves

First off...sorry that I have not posted much lately...it's been a fun, busy summer, and I just got so behind on pics. I hope to update more now that boys are back in school, etc.
We had a fun morning out at the park riding bikes/ big wheels and playing on the playground before it got hot and steamy. Mornings have been so nice, but afternoons are still pretty toasty here. Come on fall...we are ready!!!! Not ready for it to be too cold yet though! :)
The kids are really getting to a fun age now...so much more to do with them now. I do hate they are getting big so fast, but, there is so much more to experience with them now that they are able to do more. Andrew loves his bike, and hopefully, we will be able to do more bike riding as the weather gets cooler. And Matthew loves his too, but prefers his big wheel most of the time. They must have rode about 1 1/2 miles this morning while I walked and pushed "Babe" (yes, we still call her that and Babe-a :)) in her car.
Last weekend we had a blast with the kids. Saturday, we spent the day at a water park, and the kids LOVED it! The boys were such little daredevils going down all the water slides that they could. Then Sunday the boys had their 1st T-ball game. And how cute it was!!!! Matthew and Andrew did great. Andrew was a little more hesitant than Matthew running the bases and needed a little coaching from daddy to go with him. Matthew got a little upset when he didn't get to the ball 1st when fielding...he threw his glove down and stomped off...guess we gotta work on some things :). All in all they had a blast. And Lauryn is now doing a mommy and me fairytale ballet/ tumble class. Another really cute activity!!! I just love seeing these little girls in their leotards and tutus! Lauryn likes it, but takes her a little bit to warm up...and wants to do her own thing. She has yet to dress up as a princess, "No, don't want it. " (one of her favorite almost 2 year old sayings :)). Anyways, we've been busy, but, a good kind of busy. Boys are back in school and doing well. They just go 2 mornings a week, and me and Lauryn get some 1 on 1 time, which is nice. My babies are growing up too fast! Here are some pics from this morning. Hope all is well with everyone!

It's been too long

Sorry that I have fallen so far behind on posts...I just realized my last post was almost 2 months ago! We've had a fun, busy summer so far. I've been good about uploading pics to FB, but not so much here, b/c it is more time consuming. Anyways, one day I will catch it up. For now, I am going to leave you with some recent videos of the kiddos.

Let's hear it for "All the single ladies" (and Matthew) :)

Here's some video of Lauryn and Matthew breaking it down to their new favorite song that they've heard from Alvin and the Chipmunks...gotta love it! Not sure where Andrew is in these clips, because he's usually their lead singer. :)

19 months

So, Lauryn just turned 19 months on the 5th, and she continues to amaze us and make us giggle every day!  She is truly such a sweet little girl (I know, not really a baby anymore :(...but, she'll always be "the baby"). She has such a happy and silly disposition and is really starting to become a little chatter box. :)  She says so many new words lately and has started to put 3 words together, if not more.  She loves to dance, as you can see from the video in the last post, jump, and, yes, climb everything!  She has all 4 molars and is getting her second "eye" tooth.  She loves the water and LOVES to swim...thank goodness, since we will be spending ALOT of time at the pool this summer with her big brothers, as they LOVE the water too!  Here are some cute videos of her on the way down to the beach last week.

"Dancing in the Street"

We just got back from a wonderful family beach vacation to the gulf with some friends.  Here's a video of the kids one night "Dancing in the Street."  Enjoy!

I ♥ sleepy pics

Lauyrn's also sleeping, but I didn't want to risk waking her up since she's been snoozing for a while now.  Ahhh, I love days like this! ☺ So quiet right now...doesn't happen often that all 3 are asleep at the same time during the day. :)

New playset

So, Mike was pretty busy a couple of weeks ago putting together a new playset for the kids.  Kuddos to daddy!  And a BIG thank you to Grandma for such a generous gift.  The boys LOVE it!  We've been talking about it for the past year or so, and it is wonderful having one right in our own backyard. Lauryn loves it too...she has no fear and climbs right up the ladder on the back and goes "wee" down the slide.  We are loving it!

Uh-oh, what are they up to now???!
On your mark, get set,
Superman!

Growing up too fast,

and trying to do just like her brothers'.  Well, not just like them...this is an improvement from the other day when she wanted to stand up like her brothers at the toilet or tonight when, she tried to pee in a cup in the tub.  :)  Looking forward to potty training a girl with 2 brothers, lol! :)

Happy Easter!

We hope that everyone had a beautiful day yesterday.  We sure did!  Of course, we missed our family who are not close and wish they were here.  We had a pretty relaxing day and enjoyed waking up to Andrew and Matthew finding Easter eggs outside their bedroom door...it was too cute... it went something like this, "Andrew the Easter bunny came!  Whoa, an egg...what's in it?  Look, look, there's another one!  And he drank all his juice!."  The boys enjoyed their baskets, played with bubbles, painted, finished their egg hunt, played with their water guns, and then Babe woke up (sleepyhead!).  And she was so excited to see her Jessie doll!  "Yessie, Yessie! Buzz fy (fly)."  She is in LOVE with Toy Story anything!!!!  We then got ready and headed out to Church and enjoyed the rest of the day with my mom and dad watching the kids play, swim, search for more eggs outside, and eat lots of candy!  Happy Easter!

Just keep swimming...

We are so happy that the warm weather has arrived and so excited for pool season!  So to get ready, and teach the boys some basics and water safety, they have started swimming lessons and LOVE them!  They look forward to it every week.  They are a little more timid than the 2 other kids in the class, but they are the youngest and really should be in a lower level, but this is what they had open.  I think watching the older kids swim could potentially benefit them (I hope :)).  Anyways we are loving the warm, I mean HOT, weather we've been having...is it time to open the pool yet???? :)

Spring fever!

This is what we did yesterday and today...play, play, play outside in this gorgeous 70 degree weather! The kids were so funny yesterday...when I went to get them dressed, I put short sleeves on them and Lauryn and Matthew kept pulling at their sleeves, and Matthew pitched a fit and said he wanted them longer. :) We are enjoying it before it gets in the 40's again on Monday. :(

Another first!

The boys had their 1st visit to the dentist this week, and to my surprise (well, not sure why I was surprised b/c they are so cooperative at the doctor visits now), they were absolute angels!  We visited Cherokee Children's Dentistry and I HIGHLY recommend them.  They are awesome!  We had a wonderful experience.   I am so glad  that I did choose a pediatric dentist, b/c I was contemplating sending them to Mike and I's...but, undoubtably, there is a difference.  They were so cute, when they asked who wanted to go 1st,  of course Matthew said "Andrew" and Andrew said "Matthew." :)  Matthew ended up going 1st and was such a brave little guy!  And Andrew was too!  They even did great for the x-rays.  And Babe had a great time playing with the toys and looking at the fish and bears on the walls.  The staff is amazing, and the place is adorable!  They even took these pics for me and emailed them to me the next day, since I forgot my camera.

Bear

was in need of a check-up this past weekend, according to Dr. Andrew and Dr. Matthew. :)

Andrew broke out is "tools"  to help Matthew find exactly where to give the shot. :)
All better Bear.

Bear really was such a trooper!
