Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree

Sorry, it was a great weekend, but I'm wiped out now, so I am a little short of words.  Hope your weekend was great!

Santa Claus is coming to town!

We were all busy at work yesterday and today; hopefully, the tree will be tomorrow!

We believe in Santa, but Elf on the Shelf????

So, "Elfie" (as the boys call him) did his job last night and reported to Santa at the North Pole and returned here this morning.  Can you find him???  Because the boys forgot all about him this morning, and when I asked them about him, they could not find him.  After I gave them clues, and they saw him, Matthew replied, "Why'd daddy put him there?"  And that was after telling them, many times, that he left last night and that, that is where he came back to.  We told them he flew to the North Pole last night, and Andrew said "No, he can't fly...he doesn't have wings."  Are they really only 2 years old (almost 3)???  Are they really supposed to be analyzing these things at this age?  And, we gave in to "Elf on the Shelf" to help explain how Santa knows if they are "good boys" by "Elfie" watching over them, and they still ask many questions and debate with us! :)  They are too funny and are going to make this holiday season very interesting, to say the least!  Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

The kids birthday bash!

Yes, I have finally uploaded pics of their birthday party from earlier this month. You can view the slideshow on the right sidebar. We had a combo birthday party this year to celebrate Lauryn's 1st birthday and Andrew and Matthew's 3rd (we celebrated theirs a little early, as they will be 3 on Dec. 7th...we had family in town too, so it was a good time to do both). The kids had a blast! Our original plan was to have it a party/ bouncy house play place, and unfortunately they closed down a week before the party :(. But, luckily the weather was beautiful, and we were able to have it in our backyard with our own bouncy house, daddy's DJ music, lots of good food, and great family and friends. It worked out better this way...funny how things work out for the best in the end. Enjoy the pics...I know there are A LOT of them! Thanks to my sister Tammi who took most of them! :) And thank you to Grandma and Auntie Marion for traveling all this way to celebrate with us!

A chilly night in Georgia

So here are the boys and daddy warming up by the fire tonight.  You gotta love this time of year!  I think last night was the first night in almost 3 years (since the boys were born) that we have lit the fireplace.  It was so nice, and the boys loved it (of course, we can only do it after "Babe-a" goes to bed). :)  We talked all about Santa and how he gets in the house.  And the boys reminded us, that we have to put the fire out so that Santa does not get a "boo-boo on his bum."  They are getting too smart and remember everything now!  Christmas is going to be so much fun this year.  And tonight is our first night of "Elf on the Shelf"...we'll see if the boys remember tomorrow morning...

Happy Turkey Day!

We have so much to be thankful for this year.  These 3 little turkeys mean the WORLD to us, and we are so thankful for our healthy, beautiful children.  And of course, we are also thankful for our wonderful family, friends, and good health.  We hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Our little turkeys

Today the boys had a Thanksgiving feast at school.  They were too cute!  And this year daddy was able to make it too.  Matthew came running out in his turkey hat found daddy with a big grin and said "Hey!"  Andrew loved his hat and looked to cute too.  What a change from last year!  Earlier in the week the boys kept singing a song at home, and all I could make out was something about "a big fat turkey"...they were too cute; I wished I would have gotten them on video.  Well, I guess they were supposed to put on a performance, but the teacher said they didn't want to sing, so they came out in their turkey hats and greeted us which was just as cute!  Maybe next year.  It was such a better lunch this year.  Although the boys didn't eat much of anything besides dessert, by the way will that ever get better???...they are so picky,  they sat at the table quietly which was such a HUGE improvement from last year.  And of course with daddy being there with us this year, it made things a lot easier.  And as you can see in the pics, Lauryn was, once again, our only eater....did I mention how happy that makes me?!  Anyways, I am really looking forward to their Christmas performance this year; I can't believe how big my little guys are getting!  After our feast, we headed to their playground to burn off a little energy.

and coming to see mommy
Here comes Andrew!

I just love this!
Double Trouble...
need I say more???! :)
She is getting so good on her feet!

I think Santa may need to bring the boys some "big boy" swings if they are good. :)  They were even pumping their legs.  When did my babies grow up???!

Have a great weekend!

Uh-oh, spaghetti-O's!

She gobbled up some spaghetti-O's at lunch today. She loved them...can you tell???!

Needless to say, she went straight into the bath after lunch! :)

Silly doggy...

oops, I mean baby (she has recently started to bark/whine like a dog :)).  Here's Lauryn being silly in the car today while we wait for daddy to finish an errand.  The boys were napping in the back.

Finally caught on film...

Lauryn walking all over the place!  It took us long enough, but we finally caught her on video today.  Here's our big girl!

A whole new world for "Babe-a"

We turned Lauryn's car seat around today, and she has a whole new view!  And let's not forget an important factor...a better view of the dvd player too. :)  I think she likes it!  I know that I have said this many times before, but, really where'd my baby go???!

Brotherly love!

Here are the boys at naptime today. I heard them goofing around on the monitor as usual at naptime, and then they got quiet...so, I decided to check on them; and, this is how I found them.  This is a 1st since they were little.  I just thought it was too cute not to share! :)

(Oh, and this is Lauryn's new toy from Auntie Shannon and family that the boys love!)

This is how I stroll!

I think she's feeling a little more confident on her feet now.  Here she is today, walking around with her bub-ba...she won't lie down and drink it anymore...she drinks on the go! :)

And we all fall down!  Of course, she's still alittle wobbly.

And her new trick...able to stand up from the middle of the floor not holding on to anything!  Yay, big girl!
