So, "Elfie" (as the boys call him) did his job last night and reported to Santa at the North Pole and returned here this morning. Can you find him??? Because the boys forgot all about him this morning, and when I asked them about him, they could not find him. After I gave them clues, and they saw him, Matthew replied, "Why'd daddy put him there?" And that was after telling them, many times, that he left last night and that, that is where he came back to. We told them he flew to the North Pole last night, and Andrew said "No, he can't fly...he doesn't have wings." Are they really only 2 years old (almost 3)??? Are they really supposed to be analyzing these things at this age? And, we gave in to "Elf on the Shelf" to help explain how Santa knows if they are "good boys" by "Elfie" watching over them, and they still ask many questions and debate with us! :) They are too funny and are going to make this holiday season very interesting, to say the least!
