Happy New Year!

Goodbye to a wonderful 2009 and welcome 2010!  

I don't think Matthew is too happy about saying goodbye, as it was a wonderful year for us.  We pray for another blessed and healthy year.  We have so much to be thankful for in 2009 and hope it continues in 2010.  Here's to a healthy, safe 2010!

And that is what we did last night on NYE, we hung out as a family.  We had a NYE dinner at our favorite place, Zucca, and then headed home to play with the kiddos.  The boys thought they could stay up and play late, but Matthew soon crashed on the couch watching TV with daddy and then headed to bed 1st (well, not 1st, of course, Babe was already fast asleep for the night).  Then Andrew kept going full steam ahead with his blocks, until he too crashed on the couch in daddy's arms at about 11pm.  Daddy put him to bed, and then we too fell asleep before the New Year. :)

This doesn't happen very often, so we were cherishing every minute...I think daddy just LOVED this!

So, as you can see none of us were able to stay awake until the New Year, but, really does it get any better than this?!!!   

Daddy's at work today, so it's me and the kids playing in our jammies all day enjoying our new toys and Christmas tree before it comes down this weekend. :(  Happy New Year and best wishes for a wonderful 2010!!!!!
